Vigil does not share your data except:
• With trusted contacts YOU explicitly designate

All sharing is user-initiated or legally required.
DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
• Incident data is stored in accordance with retention settings
• Standard retention: 90 days
• Extended retention (if applicable): up to 180 days
Data may be deleted after retention periods unless retained by the user.
SECURITY
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure processing environments
However, no system is completely secure.
AI PROCESSING
Vigil uses AI to assist in structuring incident data.
AI outputs are:
• Assistive only
• Generated from recorded inputs

If you access Vigil outside the UK, your data may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

AI-generated outputs are assistive and must be reviewed by the user.
